TrustBuy ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

• Personal Information: When you register, we collect your name, email address, and profile picture (stored via Firebase Auth and Cloudinary).
• Role-Based Data: Depending on whether you are a Buyer or an Agent, we may collect verification details such as ID card images to ensure platform safety.
• Location Data: To enable tracking between Buyers and Agents, the App collects precise location data. This data is collected in the foreground and, if permitted, in the background to ensure real-time tracking during an active request.
• Chat & Media: We store chat messages (via Firebase Realtime Database) and images/videos you upload (via Cloudinary) to facilitate communication between users.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To provide and maintain the service (e.g., connecting Buyers and Agents).
• To facilitate real-time tracking and location sharing.
• To process transactions and manage your wallet (e.g., EasyPaisa integrations).
• To send notifications regarding request updates or new messages.
• To improve our App through anonymous analytics (Firebase Analytics).

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:

• Service Providers: We use third-party services like Google Firebase (Database/Auth), Google Maps (Location Services), and Cloudinary (Media storage).
• Other Users: Your name, rating, and location are shared with the relevant Buyer/Agent only during an active transaction to ensure the service is completed safely.

4. Data Security & Retention

We implement industry-standard security measures provided by Firebase to protect your data. We retain your information as long as your account is active.

5. Your Rights & Data Deletion

You have the right to access or update your personal information. You can delete your account at any time through the "Delete Account" option in the Profile settings. This action will permanently remove:

• Your profile information and images.
• Active requests and chat history associated with your UID.
• Authentication records.

How to Delete Your Account

To delete your account, simply open the TrustBuy app, go to Profile Settings, and tap the "Delete Account" button. Your account and all associated data will be permanently removed.

6. Children's Privacy

TrustBuy is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
